Beer keg (bag) foam crafting pattern
Digital PDF blueprint to help you make your own cosplay or LARP keg prop that is (optional) also a secretly a bag! Do you want to use the exact blueprint that I drafted and used for my own cosplay props? Now you can!
A set of digital patterns (PDF) that you can print out and use to make your own (cosplay or LARP) keg prop that also functions as a bag. You can also choose to make it without the bag function, so just as a decorative keg. Both options are included in the pattern set.
They are digital files, so there is no physical pattern that I send to you. You will need to download the file to your computer and work with it from there.
If you purchase this PDF, you can immediatly download it and print it to help make your own props. If you want to make the keg just as a prop, you can print the first 4 pages. If you want to make it as a bag, you’ll need to print pages 5 till 10. This pattern set does not include a written tutorial book, but all the instructions you will need are written on the pattern itself. Some basic crafting experience is advised when working with this pattern. If you want more help with building this, you can always check out the tutorial PDF that’s also in my shop.
The kind of foams that I used for this keg are: Low density 10mm thick EVA foam and High density EVA foam in 5mm thickness. I also used foamclay to make the rivets.
This beer barrel prop is perfect for any tavern wench, adventurer or other fantasy character! Because it’s made with foam, it can work even as a throwing weapon for LARP. If using this pattern, the finished prop is aprox 30 cm high and 25 cm in diameter. So the bag will fit a phone easily and even a scarf, little jacket or other things! Of course it’s important to keep in mind that when making this with foam, it won’t be so strong that it can hold really heavy things. You don’t want to rip the foam.
This digital PDF pattern set includes blueprints for the following:
- Keg prop that functions as a bag
- Keg prop that’s not a bag. Just a keg.
